Crocheted Hat for Derek

I crocheted this hat up in two days using a free pattern available on Lion Brand's website called Spice Solace Cap. After working on Mila's hat for months, it was quite rewarding! Derek has reported that it fits perfectly snug and he loves it! The homemade tag was a special hit by all.

I used less than one skein of Vanna's Choice Yarn in Barley. I followed the Lion Brand pattern except that I continued to increase stitches to 72 st. around before I made the straight part of the hat. I continued with single crochet stitches until it measured the right length according to B's head. I added two rows of double crochet stitching to dress it up.
